We are excited to announce that our president here at WeatherExtreme Ltd., Dr. Elizabeth Austin, CCM, has been the latest recipient of the Henry T. Harrison Award for her Outstanding Contributions by a Consulting Meteorologist. The Council of the American Meteorological Society, at its recent meeting voted to award her due to her work “for serving the meteorological profession, her clients, and the Society with integrity and professionalism over the course of her exemplary career.” The Henry T. Harrison award for Outstanding Contributions was established to recognize a consulting meteorologist for outstanding contributions to the profession, clients, and society. Nominees of the esteemed award demonstrate expertise in weather or climate and their applications, adherence to ethical behavior, and a high level of service to clients and/or the weather and climate expertise.
